The question bank comes straight from the Practice Companion, the same content that's cross-referenced to California statute and CalCode sections in the parent workbook. It isn't a repackaged national test bank with the state-specific detail sanded off.
How to use it if you're just starting out
Run the free sample cold, before you've opened any study material. Your score won't mean much on its own, but the module breakdown will tell you something real: if you miss every food safety question and get the general administration ones right, that's useful information about where your first few study sessions should go. Treat it as a diagnostic, the same way our free 40-question pretest is designed to work, not as a pass/fail verdict.
